CSZ's Quality, Reliability & Performance Win Custom CV Chamber Order from FAW-China/Volkswagen
Recently FAW China, in a joint venture with Volkswagen, contacted CSZ with a need for a large custom test chamber. FAW had purchased from CSZ in the past and knew returning to CSZ to fill this request was a good decision based on the performance, reliability and quality they experienced with previous CSZ test chambers.
The scope of their project was to conduct testing on front-end assemblies for Volkswagen. FAW had very specific requests for transition times for temperature and humidity without a live load. The chamber also needed to be able to work in conjunction with an existing vibration table and be large enough for operators to easily insert and remove large automotive parts. The chamber also had to meet Volkswagen specification PV1200, Oct. 2004.
The solution provided by CSZ was a 600 cu. ft. CV chamber with two
40 hp. compressors. The chamber had an inside workspace which
was 118 in. wide and 72 in. high and 126 in. deep (300cm W x 183cm
H x 320cm D).
